2nds survive thorny Thistles. 5-2 |

2nd Grade rolled out their international squad on the weekend to secure another high scoring topsy turvy win. A great start saw the 2nds move into the half time latte break with a comfortable two goal lead. Bradley 'Harold' Duncan, the high scoring Scot, put one in the net early as did his northern companion Philsie just before half time.
The second half started off poorly with one dubious clearence and
another dubious penalty - both committed by the same dubious player, saw
the Thistles, like Trinity in the Matrix's
third instalment, have a slight glimmer of hope . This , like Trinity, didn't last long as Philsie added
two more to his burgeoning goal coffers along with the high leaping
Chilean Mauricio who headed home a pearler off a looping Andy Woods
corner.
Special mention goes to our other British-cum-Mullum James who had a
masterful stint between the sticks defying both gravity and centrebet
odds in saving some very difficult shots.
A big thankyou to Jaque Fuller for stepping up to play a pivital roll in
the game - your contract is ready and waiting !!
